The Tasmanian melodic black metal quintet Atra Vetosus return in 2021 with their new EP 'Even The Dawn No Longer Brings Hope'. The EP combines aspects of melodic, atmospheric, depressive and post black metal, serving as a direct and perfect sequel to 2018's 'Apricity'. This release bridges the gap between 'Apricicty' and their next (already written) full length album, which is soon to start production so that the three releases will stand as a flowing and unified work. Once again the band produces a defined and beautiful piece of musical art that interweaves lush, melancholic passages with sweeping, majestic soundscapes spread over 3 memorable and enthralling tracks that are both beautiful and powerful at the very same time.
