Archgoat – Nightbringer, Lightbringer CD
Archgoat – 'Nightbringer, Lightbringer' CD
Digipak CD edition with 12 page booklet
Finnish Black Metal pioneers Archgoat return with 'Nightbringer, Lightbringer', another uncompromising display of blasphemous brutality from one of the underground's most distinctive Black/Death Metal acts. Drawing upon the primitive aggression of first-wave Black Metal, the crushing weight of Death Metal, Punk hostility and bestial Grindcore, Archgoat forge a sound that is both relentlessly savage and steeped in occult darkness. Sinister atmospheric passages, cryptic synth embellishments and grand melodic guitar leads add depth to the album's otherwise punishing assault, creating moments of eerie tension before the music descends once more into ferocious sonic violence. Raw, ritualistic and unapologetically extreme, 'Nightbringer, Lightbringer' embodies Archgoat's enduring devotion to Satanic Black Metal. Complete with striking cover artwork by legendary artist Chris Moyen.
