Atra Vetosus, The Atmospheric / Melodic Black Metal band from Australia is back with their 3rd full length album which is majestic and as expansive as ever - sublimely evolving their signature style of orchestral atmospheric black metal with melodic guitars, dual melodies and  at times shredding fury and full blast beats with bass lines to deliver the right punch but also nice melodies in the breaks where needed. The vocals are more harsh than on the previous records with some moments of clean singing. Synths and violins create a luscious respite from the fury and with acoustic guitars lull the listener to a cascade of melancholy and sublime wonder. Atra Vetosus has written a record that does not only sound, but feels like a complete journey - epic from start 'till finish spanning Atmospheric to Post and eve Sludge Black Metal.
