The album, shook the European black metal scene to its core & remains one of the most influential releases in the genre. Originally released on the cult label Cacophonous Records, 'The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh' captures the early sound of Cradle Of Filth, still bearing some traces of their death metal roots but soaked in gothic atmospheres and vampiric themes. This album immediately set the band apart, creating a unique and raw sound that defined their style and left countless imitators in its wake. None, however, could match the intensity and unmistakable British flair that Cradle Of Filth brought to the table.  This 2025 remaster was done by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony, from the original 1993 DAT tapes, ensuring the album’s raw energy is preserved while enhancing the clarity and depth of the sound. The release also comes with new liner notes by Olivier ‘Zoltar’ Badin, offering fans fresh insight into the making of this legendary album.
