This edition includes the previously unheard bonus track “Autopoema”—recorded during the original demo session but left off the early 1993 tape—now unveiled for the first time. Emerging from Trondheim just as the Norwegian black metal scene was exploding, The 3rd and the Mortal forged their own groundbreaking path. Blending crushing doom riffs, ethereal female vocals and progressive, atmospheric arrangements, the band became one of the first to pioneer a sound that would influence countless artists across the globe. Formed by Geir Nilssen, Finn Olav Holthe, Trond Engum, Rune Hoemsnes and the unmistakable Kari Rueslåtten (also known for her vocals on STORM’s Nordavind), the band entered the Trøndertun studio to capture what would become their one and only demo.
