Founded in the Autumn of 1994 Frostmoon Eclipse is one of the oldest established black metal bands on the Italian scene, mixing melodic acoustics with old school black metal. The latest release in their prolific career is this superb 2019 album, 'Worse Weather To Come' which manages to merge the band's traditional 90's Black Metal roots with, a post Black Metal modernity, high production values, searing melody and a bittersweet doom fettered melancholy that is reminiscent of 90s' doom/ black crossover and bands from the Italian scene like Novembre. With members who have been involved in the likes of Macabre Omen, Blut Aus Nord & Acherontas this powerful album is not to be missed!
