Since 1989, Sielwolf has been redefining the boundaries of industrial sound, moving from raw noise to deeply personal explorations in dark ambient, dub, and experimental textures while always retaining their signature intensity. Over time, the project evolved from harsh industrial expression to more atmospheric landscapes, culminating in collaborations like the one with Nam Khar. 'Zwischenstation' unveils long-forgotten material from a period of disappearance, transition, and inner upheaval. Considered by the artist as the sixth Sielwolf record, this release, also called 'The Lost Tapes' captures feverish, introspective moments of confronting fear while seeking self-determination. Expect fractured drones, deformed voices, cellar-like percussion, mechanical rhythms, ghostly organ echoes, and distressed sonic textures. Together, they form a bleak yet mesmerizing soundscape, a nihilistic journey through decaying fragments of an inner world devoid of light. These recordings are reports from the Zwischenstation - the in-between space where dissolution transforms into revelation, and regression becomes the path to survival and renewal.
